Job Overview
The Inpatient After Hours Coordinator Level II is a key position at MedPOINT Management, requiring strong coordination and communication skills. This individual will work closely with After Hour Nurse Case Managers to ensure seamless patient care, utilizing established guidelines and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Generates authorization numbers for various services, including inpatient care and transportation.
- Assists with repatriation of patients from out-of-network facilities, ensuring they receive necessary care and treatment.
- Verifies patient eligibility using multiple sources, including EZ Cap, Health Plan website, and Passport.
- Supports Afterhours Nurse Case Managers by coordinating with hospitalists/specialists, transferring patients, and confirming arrivals.
- Maintains accurate records and archives clinical reviews and medical records in EZ CAP.
- Collaborates with hospitalists to ensure timely discharges and addresses any concerns or issues that may arise.
