Inpatient Healthcare Navigator Position at MedPOINT Management

Job Description:

This Inpatient Coordinator Level 2 role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of MedPOINT Management's Clinical Care Coordination team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to patient care, including authorization requests, provider inquiries, and member concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily bed day logs and notify teams accordingly.
  • Collaborate with hospital case management and utilization review departments.
  • Process inpatient/transportation authorizations and clinical reviews.
  • Assist case managers with non-clinical tasks and provide support with PQI cases, NOA, LOA, and more.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience as an Inpatient Coordinator.
  • Strong understanding of EZ Cap, Right Fax, 3cx phone system, and EHR applications.
  • Excellent Microsoft Outlook skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Previous experience in a managed care setting or medical office preferred.

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on location and experience.
