Business Operations Manager

As a key member of the Commercial Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end business analysis for all areas under Commercial Operations. This includes Onboard Revenue, Air Operations, Casino Operations, Gift Shop, Port Operations, Shore Excursions, Spa, and more. You will provide financial leadership to the operating teams through the implementation of business plans, proforma financial projections, dashboards, pricing grids, and other tools to enhance visibility and drive cost saving/revenue generating decisions.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Develop standardized financial models to assess cost saving and revenue initiatives.
- Partner with operating teams to create new and enhance existing KPI's, operating and financial metrics.
- Assess existing pricing strategies across the teams to develop comprehensive pricing matrices. Enhance reporting to track the impact of price adjustments.
- Develop comprehensive business plans, return on investment analysis, and cash flow projections for all Commercial Operations initiatives.
- Utilize expertise to identify and lead process improvement and revenue generating/cost savings initiatives.
- Establish effective communication by setting up meeting cadences with leaders for each area to stay current with business priorities, provide update on project status and deliverables.
- Apply statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis skills to support Commercial Operations department.
- Work closely with operating teams to ensure deadlines are met as it relates to deliverables, project financial analysis and inputs.
- Lead and manage project management efforts, ensuring efficient execution of Commercial Operations projects.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across Commercial Operations.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
- 5 years in a business analytics role for a large organization.
- Experience interacting with senior leadership in various departments across the organization.
- Experience building financial models, creating visualizations, handling large datasets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with data querying skills.
- Strong proficiency with Power Point, Hyperion Essbase, and Oracle financial systems.
- Proficient with visualization tools like Tableau and dashboards.
- VBA, Python, and SQL coding skills are also preferred.
- Self-starter, highly analytical, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and with different team members across the organization.
- Organized, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Results-oriented with the ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure.
