CNC Machinist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at Randstad. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, creating and modifying programs, and ensuring quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers, according to programming instructions.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and fixtures, and monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Create or modify CNC programs using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software, and verify and test programs to ensure accuracy.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards, and use measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning, and report any equipment malfunctions or problems.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or in a related field.
  • Experience with CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers.
  • Knowledge of computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software and programming languages.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
