Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee program execution and serve as the primary contact between clients and ATS for all Tier II suppliers involved in the contract.
  • Collaborate with site maintenance teams and storerooms to ensure uninterrupted availability of repairable components.
  • Manage and process all repairable items within the scope of this agreement across all vendors.
  • Facilitate and monitor all orders with various suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify warranty savings for supplier parts that have failed under warranty conditions.
  • Assist in identifying, resolving, and implementing root cause analysis (RCA) activities for clients.
  • Label all parts with unique ATS barcode identifiers.
  • Track all components within the repair process.
  • Maintain historical data to enhance failure analysis, pinpoint opportunities for improved part performance, and link failures to customer assets to minimize machine downtime.
  • Manage the collection and distribution of repairable inventory and components as necessary.
  • Provide data to support stock-level decisions, ensuring sufficient inventory while reducing excess stock.
  • Monitor, maintain, and report on performance metrics aimed at driving activities that support overall program effectiveness and cost savings for ATS and, in some cases, clients.
  • Identify additional opportunities within client facilities to boost ATS sales.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Associate's Degree with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong customer service and intermediate sales abilities.
  • Ability to recognize part numbers and differentiate among various types of components at a basic level.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and inventory/maintenance software.
  • Documented experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, KANBAN, or JIT.
  • General understanding of ATS products and service offerings.

Essential Competencies:

  • Customer service and engagement.
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to establish minimum/maximum inventory levels and make sound financial decisions.
  • Effective presentation skills to small groups.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

This position requires regular sitting, reaching with hands and arms, and effective communication. Occasional standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be necessary, as well as the ability to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Close vision is frequently required. Work is primarily conducted in a factory setting, which can be very loud. Employees may encounter hazardous materials and/or slippery factory floors.
