POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the repair and maintenance of our apartment community. This role involves delivering outstanding service to residents, completing service requests promptly, and conducting preventative maintenance and unit inspections as directed by the Community Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute service requests, preventative maintenance, and unit renovations as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Director.
  • Conduct necessary property and unit inspections and ensure timely completion of any follow-up tasks.
  • Deliver high-quality and professional service to residents.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all equipment, vehicles, and workshop areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in maintenance, construction, skilled trades, home repairs, or as a maintenance technician is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate for a fulfilling career in property management.
  • Physical ability to frequently push or pull up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift up to 75 lbs., kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation.

WORKING HOURS:

This is a full-time role, with on-call hours scheduled on a rotating basis.
