Job Responsibilities:
The Automotive Repair Specialist will be responsible for:
- Executing vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as per work orders with precision and efficiency.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle malfunctions using technical expertise.
- Providing timely and professional responses to repair inquiries.
- Conducting test drives to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition.
- Documenting all service and maintenance work performed, including compliance with state inspection requirements.
- Utilizing tools and equipment safely while adhering to proper safety protocols.
- Managing warranty parts according to established procedures.
- Completing all service-related documentation accurately and legibly.
- Maintaining technical skills through ongoing training and education.
- Keeping the work area clean and organized to meet safety standards.
- Properly disposing of hazardous materials in accordance with regulations.
- Participating in company-sponsored training sessions.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Strong technical communication and reading skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying temperature conditions.
- A valid Driver's License and relevant state certifications.
Education and Experience:
Applicants should have:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Service Technical School program.
- A variety of service-related tools.
- Some experience in automotive service, with preference given to those trained in Hyundai or Kia systems.
