SpecialtyRx, a leading Long-Term Care pharmacy, is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician/ADS to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician/ADS, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff, primarily through email.
  • Utilize various applications (myQlink, OmniCenter) to obtain reports.
  • Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date).
  • Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.
  • Replace potentially expiring inventory.
  • Restock depleted inventory.
  • Pull and pack medications for daily routes.
  • Code controlled substances, when applicable.
  • Monthly audits (cycle count).
  • Prepares standard documentation and reports to include discrepancies, expense reports, and others as directed.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
  • NJ Pharmacy Technician Registration Required, in process or willing to obtain after hire.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred).
  • Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and your own vehicle.
  • Availability and flexibility to work after hours when needed during peak times.
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting.
  • Willing to drive long distances in the state of NJ, NY and PA.
