Job Title: Business Risk Data Analyst

WorldLink is seeking a highly skilled Business Risk Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating financial risks, improving operational efficiency, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple initiatives to review areas and potential areas of financial risk and loss in a complex sales and fulfillment environment.
  • Build reporting and dashboards that quantify the scope of issues and measure improvements from mitigation strategies.
  • Optimize data-driven perspectives on areas of potential and actual financial loss, defining opportunities for improvement and quantifying current and future scenarios for presentation to internal stakeholders.
  • Innovate by thinking outside the box, leveraging data, and building insights to create business cases.
  • Maintain reporting to focus resources and receive risk issues, determining which tables and columns must be queried to determine the size and scope of the problem and finding the best attribute to mitigate the issue.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and Tableau.
  • College degree required.
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel.
  • Extensive experience in data mining, analysis, business case development, and reporting.
  • Ability to work with large data sets.
  • Familiarity with the identification and resolution of issues working with disparate sources of data and data quality issues.
  • Experience with Confluence and Jira.
  • Kibana experience a plus.

  • Additional visualization tools like Power BI and MicroStrategy a plus.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include the ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time-sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
