TheRotor Wing Pilotis responsible for professionally and safely operating aircraft for LFN to facilitate care of critically ill and/or injured patients. Rotor Wing Pilots possess strong aviation skills, a keen sense of safety, superior customer service skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people, one-on-one and in large groups, sometimes in highly stressful situations. TheRotor Wing Pilotwill be required to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

High School diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s Degree preferred5 years’ experience as a professional pilot preferred2000 hours Total Time required1500 hours Pilot in Command1000 R/W Turbine hours required100 hours instrument time preferred, 50 hours required100 hours of unaided nighttime requiredPilots with air medical transportation experience preferredPilots with NVG experience preferredMountain experience preferred. Experience evaluated on a case-by-case basis.Must hold FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Helicopter RatingMust have and maintain FAA second class flight physicalPerforms pre- and post-flight inspections. Plans flights, assists in loading of passengers, baggage and cargo, and analyzes weather conditionsMaintains logs and records, as required, and prepares written reportsOperates aircraft tug, tractor, and/or ground handling equipmentProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent grammar; verbal and written communication, and customer service skillsTravel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN’s service area is requiredMust hold a valid driver’s license, have access to an automobile in good repair, be able to provide proof of auto insurance, meet LFN’s Driver’s Policy requirements and able to travel whenever or wherever business needs necessitate
