Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Site Reliability Engineer to become a vital part of our Site Reliability Engineering team. Reporting directly to the Manager of Site Reliability Engineering, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with Software Engineering and Infrastructure teams to architect, implement, and deploy comprehensive monitoring solutions.
  • Overseeing the deployment of updates, patches, and essential administrative tools.
  • Monitoring applications and services, participating in on-call rotations, and addressing issues while formulating strategies to mitigate future incidents.
  • Diagnosing problems, resolving issues, and effectively communicating solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a comparable role within a SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or Go, along with scripting languages like Bash.
  • A solid understanding of networking protocols and components, including HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, ICMP, the OSI Model, Subnetting, and Load Balancing.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including after hours and weekends, for application releases and deployments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a NOC/SRE on-call capacity.
  • Familiarity with SRE fundamentals, including Golden signals.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes and automation framework development.
