Job Title: Correctional Food Service Officer II

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Correctional Food Service Officer II to join our team at the Columbus Correctional Institution. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for supervising offenders in the preparation and serving of daily meals to the facility's offender population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise offenders in food preparation and serving
  • Provide food production training to offenders
  • Maintain sanitation standards in the kitchen
  • Monitor food storage and inventory

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in institutional food preparation and food services
  • Knowledge of large-scale food production and food service activities

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
