Job Title: IT Technician

Info Way Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software components to ensure usability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Ensuring electrical safety standards are met
  • Repairing or replacing damaged hardware
  • Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers
  • Installing and configuring systems that support infrastructure and/or R&D activities
  • Developing and maintaining installation and configuration procedures
  • Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware
  • Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting
  • Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues
  • Conducting daily backup operations
  • Managing technical documentation
  • Operations and Support
  • Asset Management, including 4 physical asset audits per year
  • Tracking inventory at any time
  • Equipment purchase, shipping, and assigning to users
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
  • +, Linux+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation advantageous
  • Formal deployment experience
  • Responsible experience
  • RHEL, CENTOS, ROCKY, UBUNTU, and other Linux base OS installation, management, and support
  • Asset Management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
