Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Knowhirematch. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems for our cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for phased-array systems, millimeter wave active antennas, conformal antennas, and advanced RF systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate customer needs and develop prototypes
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on creativity, attention to detail, and teamwork
  • Mentor and provide technical review to junior engineers
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design and engineering

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant mechanical design experience
  • Experience with electronic packaging for high reliability environments
  • Extensive experience with ASME Y14.5M-2009 and GD&T
  • Proficiency with mechanical CAD tools (SolidWorks a plus)
  • Hands-on experience in a multidiscipline hardware development environment
  • Strong analytical and hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in a technical programming language such as Matlab or Python
  • Experience with the technical aspects of new business capture
  • Experience with taking a leadership role in technical development teams
