Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at High Precision Devices Inc. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex mechanical systems, including cryogenic test and measurement systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including cryogenic test and measurement systems
  • Use SolidWorks to design complex parts and assemblies
  • Apply knowledge of physics and engineering in mechanical design, electromagnetism, electronics, optics, and sensors
  • Provide technical design and analysis of low temperature cryogenic systems
  • Work directly with customers regarding their technical requirements, analysis, ideation, and improving product manufacturability
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in engineering or science and an advanced degree in related field highly desirable
  • Requires 2+ years of experience, preferably with cryogenic test and measurement system and engineering design
  • Strong physics and mathematical modeling knowledge, understanding of materials properties, manufacturing processes, and thermodynamics, experience with using scientific instruments
