Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Porter | Groundskeeper who will play a vital role in ensuring the pristine condition of our properties. This position is essential for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and operational functionality of the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily removal of waste and debris from communal areas and property boundaries.
  • Assisting in preparing units for market readiness.
  • Performing pressure washing on building exteriors and walkways.
  • Responding to property emergencies, including snow removal and other adverse weather conditions.
  • Cleaning available apartments and common areas as directed.
  • Addressing maintenance issues related to weather conditions.
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal while interacting professionally with residents and visitors.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of resident information.
  • Building positive relationships with residents and collaborating with other properties and agencies.
  • Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns immediately.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills and Attributes

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Familiarity with general office equipment.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with composure.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to uniform policy.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
  • Compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Completion of required training within the first month of employment.
  • Ability to perform snow removal and operate snow removal equipment.
  • Passion for maintaining excellent curb appeal.

Work Schedule

  • Regular schedule may include overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • On-call duties may be required during staffing shortages.

Work Environment

  • Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.
  • Potential exposure to noise and working in confined spaces.
  • Risk of exposure to communicable diseases through public interaction.
  • Possible encounters with difficult individuals.
  • Exposure to various chemicals and maintenance equipment.

Physical Demands
