Role Overview

The Property Maintenance Associate will play a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and operational functionality of the property. Responsibilities include the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, and common areas, all while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly remove litter and debris from all areas of the property.
  • Assist in preparing units for market readiness.
  • Perform pressure washing on building exteriors and walkways.
  • Respond to property emergencies, including inclement weather and other urgent situations.
  • Clean available apartments and model homes as directed.
  • Address maintenance issues arising from weather conditions.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, interacting professionally with residents.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding resident information.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents and external agencies.
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills and Attributes

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Professional appearance in accordance with uniform policies.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record are mandatory.
  • Compliance with safety protocols is essential.
  • Completion of required training within the first month of employment.
  • Ability to perform snow removal and operate related equipment.
  • Passion for maintaining impeccable curb appeal.

Work Schedule

  • Must maintain a consistent schedule, which may include overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to be on-call during staffing shortages.

Work Environment

  • Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.
  • Potential noise and vibration exposure, as well as working in confined spaces.
  • Possible contact with the public, requiring professionalism in all interactions.
  • Risk of exposure to various chemicals and maintenance equipment.

Physical Demands
