Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Associate to ensure the pristine condition of our properties. This role is essential in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and operational functionality of our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily removal of litter and debris from the property and surrounding areas.
  • Assist in preparing units for market readiness.
  • Perform pressure washing on building exteriors and walkways.
  • Respond to property emergencies, including snow removal and other weather-related incidents.
  • Clean available apartments and common areas as directed.
  • Address maintenance issues arising from adverse weather conditions.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, while interacting professionally with residents and visitors.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding resident information.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents and collaborate with other properties and agencies.
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns identified during routine tasks.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to manage challenging interactions with professionalism.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Adherence to a professional appearance and uniform policy.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Completion of Fair Housing, Diversity, and Inclusion Training within the initial employment period.
  • Ability to perform snow removal and operate snow removal equipment.
  • Passion for maintaining excellent curb appeal.

Work Schedule

  • Regular schedule required, with potential for overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • May be required to be on-call during staffing shortages.

Work Environment

  • Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.
  • Possible exposure to noise, vibrations, and confined spaces.
  • Frequent contact with the public, which may include challenging interactions.
  • Potential exposure to chemicals and mechanical hazards.

Physical Demands
