Sales Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Solutions Architect to join our team at Lenovo. As a Sales Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in driving field sales for Lenovo's Data Center product line.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with customers across various technical and business levels.
- Develop and deliver technical content to a broad customer audience.
- Architect solutions for the Data Center using Lenovo's portfolio of products and partnerships.
- Drive and support sales objectives to meet or exceed bookings and revenue targets.
- Act as an author for technical responses to proposal requests.
- Drive configurations, demos, and interoperability issues to achieve client solution needs.
- Manage the success of customer proof of concept and proof of technology evaluations.
- Represent Lenovo at trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars.
- Ensure successful deployment of solutions once purchased and provide the highest level of customer experience in challenging post-sales situations.
- Reside or be willing to relocate to Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or West Virginia.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a Sales Engineer role with a proven track record in leading and winning major server, networking, and/or storage business to Data Center clients.
- Ability to travel to meet with customers and/or industry events.
- Excellent consultative selling skills, strong written and verbal communications, and polished presentation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to drive technical collaboration across diverse customer and internal groups.
- Knowledge and experience with server and desktop virtualization, software-defined solutions, cloud, storage, business continuity, systems management, and data center operations.
- Hands-on experience with VMWare, Linux, HyperV, Windows Server, Nutanix, systems management products, and x86 systems.
- Knowledge of OpenStack, SAP, HPC, SQL, Azure, NetApp storage, and x86 servers from IBM and Lenovo.
