Physician Empire is seeking a skilled and compassionate BE/BC Psychiatrist to join our team in the Northeastern Tier of NY State. Job Summary:
We are seeking a Psychiatrist to work in our inpatient unit and outpatient clinic, providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients with acute and chronic mental health illnesses. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to diagnose and manage mental health conditions, including pharmacological interventions and psycho-education.
Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive care for patients.
Provide follow-up appointments to support patients in achieving their treatment goals, and coordinate care with community partners as needed.
Participate in shared on-call duties, including night and day call, and contribute to the development of a positive and supportive work environment.
