Physician Psychiatrist Opportunity in Northeastern NY State

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate BE/BC Psychiatrist to join our team at Physician Empire in the picturesque Northeastern Tier of NY State. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals.
Practice DescriptionAs a Psychiatrist with our team, you will have the opportunity to work with both inpatient and outpatient units, providing comprehensive care to patients with acute and chronic mental health conditions. You will conduct thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide medication management and psycho-education to patients and their families.
You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our Hospitalist program and emergency medicine team to provide seamless care to patients. Our facility is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for patients, and we are seeking a Psychiatrist who shares our values and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Conduct holistic psychiatric patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Provide medication management and psycho-education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with inpatient and outpatient teams to provide comprehensive care
- Work with Hospitalist program and emergency medicine team to provide seamless care to patients
- Participate in shared on-call duties, including night and day call and weekend coverage
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting salary range of $250,000 + DOE, plus RVU production incentive once the physician meets the MGMA median threshold. We also offer a competitive sign-on bonus, student loan repayment, and an attractive benefits package.
In addition, we offer 30 PTO days (including vacation, personal, sick, and CME) plus 7 holidays, as well as a moving expense allowance and annual CME allowance.
