About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Care Professional to join our team in a day shift role.

The successful candidate will assist dentists, set up patient equipment, and maintain accurate records. Key responsibilities include preparing patients, sterilizing instruments, setting up instrument trays, and assisting with dental procedures.

The ideal candidate will also take and record medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatment information. They will be responsible for exposing dental diagnostic x-rays, applying fluoride coatings, and providing postoperative instructions.

In addition, they will make preliminary impressions for study casts, pour, trim, and polish study casts, and clean and polish removable appliances.

Clerical duties within the department will also be required.

Requirements
  • One year of experience in a similar role within the last three years
  • Graduate from an accredited school for Dental Assistants
  • Licensed/Registered Dental Assistant certification or permit for use of dental x-ray equipment
  • Current BLS/CPR certification

Interactive Medical Specialists, Inc. is a government contractor providing medical professionals to various government agencies. We have over two decades of experience in providing contract employment services to the U.S. Government.

Schedule and Salary

The schedule consists of forty 1-hour sessions per week, Monday through Friday (excluding Federal holidays), between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch period.

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000-$60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location factors.
