Position Overview:
Are you a seasoned Catering Manager with a flair for upscale catering services and seeking a rewarding challenge? Look no further.

Sodexo is in search of a Catering Operations Manager who will collaborate closely with Clients, Key Stakeholders, and Customers to meticulously arrange and execute all catering details, ensuring that every special request is fulfilled.

This role involves directing event setups and being actively engaged in all event requirements. The position encompasses medium complexity with a significant level of hands-on involvement in catering events, emphasizing strong client interaction.

The successful candidate will also assist in overseeing front-of-house staff, maintaining cleanliness, upholding uniform standards, delivering exceptional customer service, and conducting safety training.

Are You the Ideal Candidate?
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience managing banquets and catering events;
demonstrated success in cultivating robust working relationships with clients, key stakeholders, and customers;
an established ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and exhibit strong delegation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for individuals who will:
  • Coordinate catering initiatives to enhance sales growth and monitor outcomes;
  • Oversee the sales process for catering and/or conference services, collaborating with clients to design events;
  • Contribute to account revenue and operating profit through service implementation and growth opportunity creation;
  • Plan projects by defining objectives, methods, timelines, and budgets to align with client and Sodexo's strategic goals;
  • Establish and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with food and physical safety regulations and Sodexo standards.

This role promotes a zero-harm mindset and involves supervising employees by delegating, assigning, and prioritizing tasks while monitoring operational standards.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Basic Management Experience - 1 year
