Position Overview:

About the Role:
As part of our exploratory and drug discovery team, you will engage in developing novel therapeutic strategies aimed at understanding and treating age-related conditions. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Designing and executing complex in vitro assays and aging models, particularly utilizing iPSC-derived cardiac, muscular, and neuromuscular systems.
  • Conducting ex vivo investigations to identify and validate new biomarkers and assessment techniques in disease models through cutting-edge technologies.
  • Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to analyze and present data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

  • Utilize a variety of molecular and cellular biology techniques to support research projects.
  • Implement diverse in vitro methodologies to establish and validate assays, as well as characterize cellular disease models.
  • Assess preclinical and human samples for pharmacodynamic biomarkers using various ex vivo techniques.
  • Analyze and visualize data, ensuring thorough documentation and presentation of findings to diverse teams.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies through continuous literature review and participation in scientific discussions.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, you should possess:

  • A BS or MS degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in in vitro methodologies, with experience in iPSC-derived models being advantageous.
  • Knowledge of ex vivo/in vivo techniques for biomarker and tissue analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and executing assays, including cell culture, qPCR, IHC/IF, ELISA, and imaging techniques.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including proficiency in tools such as Excel, R, Python, or Prism.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
