As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures, reviewing patient history, and prioritizing patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
Responsibilities:- Perform radiographic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other diagnostic tests
- Review patient history and initiate imaging procedures based on physician orders
- Prioritize patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation
- Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition
- Respond and report changes in patient condition as appropriate
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
