You will also maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Prepare patients for CT procedures, including explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Administer contrast agents as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
- Document patient information, imaging procedures, and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with specialization in CT.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging.
- State licensure in Radiologic Technology (if applicable).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
