Job Description

At Expeditors, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven District Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and driving business growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an assigned territory and develop a deep understanding of potential customers and competitors in this area.
  • Timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool to ensure accurate tracking of customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources to provide value-added solutions for customer logistics needs.
  • Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing necessary customer paperwork.
  • Attend training and development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors Product and Service knowledge.
  • Participate in local trade groups, as directed by the District Sales Manager, to build relationships and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Logistics Sales.
  • Ability to meet with customers off-site on a regular basis.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work productively both individually and in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
