Job Summary

CEMEX is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee the quality control program, ensuring continuous production of products consistent with established standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
  • Formulate and maintain quality control objectives, coordinating with production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
  • Direct workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
  • Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product, quality, and reliability.
  • Investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality to maintain customer relations.
Requirements
  • 4-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed, in potentially hot, cold, dusty, etc. conditions.
  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
