Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Field Operations Leader will provide strategic oversight and guidance to field personnel and departmental staff to achieve the mission of Global Medical Response Inc and uphold the principle of "total patient care".

Foster a supportive workplace culture through collaboration and excellence among peers, strengthen professional relationships with emergency services, healthcare facilities, and other members of the EMS community, while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure adherence to local policies and operational procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with contractual agreements and relevant regulations.
  • Interpret and enforce labor agreements and company policies.
  • Ensure alignment with EMS regulations and other applicable federal and local guidelines.
  • Participate in committees or working groups as required.
  • Prepare analytical reports, charts, and graphs related to operational matters.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and strategic planning.
  • Engage with partner agencies, healthcare facilities, and the community.
  • Uphold all company policies and operational procedures.
  • Analyze data and trends to provide recommendations for operational improvements.
  • Manage financial resources in accordance with the fiscal year budget.
  • Complete special projects and assignments as directed.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:

Oversee and coordinate the activities of Operations Supervisors and subordinate staff, applying effective leadership principles while promoting teamwork.

Conduct local management meetings and training sessions.

Evaluate staff performance, providing guidance, training, or disciplinary actions as necessary.

Participate in grievance resolution and arbitration processes.

Engage in the recruitment and selection of personnel.

Address employee concerns and resolve issues.

Mentor team members, conduct performance assessments, and foster a collaborative environment aimed at achieving positive outcomes.

Support performance management initiatives.

Adhere to all employment regulations and promote diversity and equal opportunity.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience, including financial oversight and staff management.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in a unionized environment is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years in emergency medical operations.
  • Driving record must comply with company insurability standards.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.

Maintain valid Paramedic or EMT Certification, along with any other necessary licenses and certifications.
