Role Responsibilities:

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing and managing the operations of our Outpatient Substance Abuse Programs. This position is primarily responsible for leading one Intensive Outpatient Group and ensuring the effective delivery of services.

  • Engage with clients, families, and referral sources to address inquiries, provide information, and resolve concerns.
  • Oversee daily operations of the IOP, including client assessments, admissions, treatment planning, and maintaining accurate client records.
  • Facilitate one weekly group session and ensure all necessary documentation is completed timely.
  • Work towards achieving and exceeding program census goals in alignment with the annual budget and strategic objectives.
  • Support the Program Director in the recruitment, training, and supervision of IOP staff.
  • Foster relationships with community partners to enhance service delivery and program visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing measures for program enhancement.
  • Contribute to treatment team meetings and assist in the review of treatment documentation.
  • Maintain required certifications and complete annual health screenings.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a LADAC or a master's degree in a relevant human services field, such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, along with at least two years of experience working with children and five years of experience in substance abuse or co-occurring disorder settings.
