Outpatient Substance Abuse Program Coordinator

Position Overview:

As a key player in our mission, the Intensive Outpatient Coordinator will oversee the management and delivery of services within our Outpatient Substance Abuse Programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), ensuring effective treatment coordination for clients.
- Facilitate one weekly group session, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and timely.
- Engage with clients, families, and referral sources to provide information, address inquiries, and resolve concerns.
- Assist in the marketing and logistical coordination of the IOP, including transportation arrangements.
- Support the Program Director in the recruitment, training, and supervision of IOP staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies and accreditation standards.
- Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of client records and documentation related to treatment planning and progress.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and participate in team meetings to discuss treatment strategies.
- Maintain current certifications, including CPR and annual TB testing.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a LADAC or a master’s degree in a relevant human services field, such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Minimum of two years of experience working with children and five years of experience in substance abuse or co-occurring disorder treatment.
