Job Summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a highly skilled Patient Relations Assistant/On-Call to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our registration team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient access to our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrive and update patient registration information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collect copays and payments at the time of service
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
Requirements:
  • High level of keyboarding accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain calm during stressful situations and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
  • Schedule flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior patient registration experience
  • Customer service background in retail, call center, hospitality, or similar industries
