Your Role

In this position, you will collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers, providing essential assistance throughout the order generation and compliance approval processes, which may involve creating or modifying orders.

You will monitor daily activities and serve as a central resource for Portfolio Managers, overseeing various dynamics such as cash levels, corporate actions, and derivative expirations, while offering proactive guidance based on these factors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing private placement processes, including monitoring exposure levels, booking transactions, confirming valuations, and handling middle office operations throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Assisting in the investigation and resolution of issues, including compliance challenges, trade discrepancies, and reporting requirements.
  • Consulting with Portfolio Managers to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
  • Generating derivative hedge trades on behalf of the investment team, including options and futures.
  • Providing tactical support to help Portfolio Managers meet client demands.
  • Assisting traders with order staging for execution and addressing ad hoc requests during the execution process.
  • Generating and/or processing trade orders for currency transactions, internal cross trades, IPOs, and secondary offerings.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in the mutual fund or financial services sector is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required; a degree may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $120,000. Actual compensation may vary. This role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance.
