Employee Recognition Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Employee Recognition Coordinator to join our team at the Miami-Dade Seaport Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing employee recognition programs that foster a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute employee recognition strategies that align with the department's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify opportunities for recognition and rewards.
- Design and implement recognition programs, including employee awards, celebrations, and other initiatives.
- Manage recognition budgets and ensure effective use of resources.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of recognition programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as human resources, business administration, or communications.
- At least two years of experience in employee recognition, wellness, or event planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
