Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Tech to join our team at Meriter-UnityPoint Health. As a Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, providing expert care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring aseptic technique and sterile equipment.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, providing technical support and expertise.
- Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from an accredited surgical technologist program.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique, scrub skills, anatomy, and obstetric surgical procedures.
- 6 months of previous experience in a surgical setting.
