Mission Overview

Join our dedicated team as we support critical defense initiatives. We are focused on enhancing operational capabilities through various roles in engineering, cybersecurity, program management, IT, and logistics. Position Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Cybersecurity Systems Analyst to assist in safeguarding our information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the authorization and accreditation processes for systems and applications, ensuring compliance with established DoD and Air Force standards.
  • Support the configuration and documentation for Information Systems and Platform Information Technology systems in line with relevant accreditation guidelines.
  • Develop and recommend policies and procedures to maintain the integrity and accessibility of information systems while protecting against unauthorized access.
  • Collaborate with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to conduct risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities in existing systems.
  • Perform security evaluations, audits, and reviews to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Work alongside the ISSM to formulate security contingency plans and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Implement training programs to ensure users understand and comply with security policies and procedures.
  • Engage in network and systems design to ensure the integration of appropriate security measures.
  • Assist in the collection and preservation of evidence for investigations related to security breaches.
  • Ensure strict adherence to cybersecurity policies and practices in all IT service deliveries.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or 3 years with a related Bachelor's degree.
  • Possession of a DoD secret level security clearance.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570 standards, holding IAT Level I or II certifications, including CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+, or Security Leadership Certification (GSLC).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Proficient in filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen.
  • Must possess mobility for bending, reaching, and kneeling to fulfill daily responsibilities.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Potential for moderate to long-distance walking due to parking and work location.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily an office setting, with potential for both indoor and outdoor tasks.
  • Office conditions may vary, including cubicle settings with varying noise levels and lighting.
  • Outdoor tasks may involve exposure to diverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management at all levels.
  • Work is conducted in a secure government facility.

Equipment and Tools:

  • Proficient in operating standard office equipment, including computers, printers, and telecommunication devices.

Attendance:

  • Regular working hours are established, with a requirement for punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to accommodate mission-critical needs.

Other Essential Functions:

  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients, management, and colleagues.
  • Exhibit clear and effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Dress and grooming must align with professional standards and safety requirements.
  • Foster a positive work environment through professional behavior and communication.
  • Independent transportation to the workplace is necessary.
  • Travel may be required to support project needs, including potential airline travel.
  • When operating vehicles for work, adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.
