Mission Overview

Join our dedicated team as we support critical defense initiatives. We are assisting in the mission by providing support for munitions, including guided weaponry, aircraft defense countermeasures, and various engineering, cybersecurity, program management, IT, and logistics roles.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled cybersecurity systems analyst to assist in the munitions program office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the system/application authorization and accreditation (A&A) process, ensuring the quality and thoroughness of A&A activities and documentation as mandated by relevant policies.
  • Support the configuration and documentation for Information Systems (IS) and Platform Information Technology (PIT) systems in line with applicable accreditation guidelines.
  • Advise on or develop policies and procedures to guarantee the reliability and accessibility of information systems while safeguarding against unauthorized access.
  • Assist the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in conducting risk and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats and necessary protections.
  • Perform evaluations, audits, and reviews of systems security.
  • Collaborate with the ISSM to formulate individual systems security contingency plans and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Design and implement training programs to ensure that users of IS or PIT systems are knowledgeable about and comply with security policies.
  • Engage in network and systems design to ensure the application of appropriate security policies and documentation for accreditation activities.
  • Support the collection, analysis, and preservation of evidence for investigations related to cybersecurity incidents.
  • Ensure strict adherence to information security and cybersecurity policies in all IT service deliveries.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

5 years of relevant experience or 3 years with a related Bachelor's degree (preferred).

Must possess a DoD secret level security clearance.

DoD 8570 compliant IAT Level I or II certification, including certifications such as:

CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+, or Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Position may involve filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen.
  • Must have sufficient mobility for bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • May require walking moderate to long distances due to parking and work location.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily an office setting, with potential for inside or outside work based on task requirements.
  • Office environment may include cubicles with varying noise levels and lighting conditions.
  • Outdoor work may involve exposure to different weather conditions.
  • Must work effectively with colleagues and management at all levels.
  • No unusual hazards or environmental conditions present.

Equipment and Machines:

  • Proficient in operating office equipment such as personal computers, printers, and other necessary tools.

Attendance:

  • Regular working hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential to meet project deadlines.
  • Flexibility in work hours may be required to accommodate critical mission needs.

Other Essential Functions:

  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with customers, management, and colleagues.
  • Exhibit clear and effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Dress and grooming must be appropriate for the role and not pose safety risks.

  • Independent transportation to the office or work site is necessary.
  • Travel to customer locations and project sites may be required.
  • When operating vehicles for work, adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.
