About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at our Hill Air Force Base location. As an entry-level Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), you will play a critical role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and monitor controls to secure our on-premises networks and platforms
  • Innovate and identify opportunities to automate tasks and advance agile and secure solutions

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 4 years of relevant experience, or
  • BS/BA degree with 0 years of relevant experience, or
  • MA/MS degree and 0 years of relevant experience
  • Specific training and education in Cybersecurity
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity methodologies, tools, and systems
  • Proven capacity to identify vulnerabilities and create impactful mitigation plans
  • Comfortably working independently to manage projects and tasks to completion
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Exceptional troubleshooter with experience resolving complex technical issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong background in IT/Cybersecurity
  • General understanding of computer networks, hardware, databases, applications, security components, computer operations, and operating system maintenance
  • Understanding of the DoD environment and familiarity with the DoD
  • Experience providing world-class customer service
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and issues to non-technical leaders and users
  • Active security clearance preferred
  • DoD M IAM Level II or higher certification requirements on hire date

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85,950

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
