Position Summary
BAE Systems USA is seeking a Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist to join our Information Services team. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through ongoing enhancement and creativity. The selected individual will collaborate with fellow specialists, Security Controls Assessors, Information System Security Managers, Program Managers, and Authorizing Official representatives to secure and uphold Authority to Operate approvals for various weapon subsystems and associated IT systems, in accordance with the Risk Management Framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews and assessments, providing strategic advice and recommendations throughout the Risk Management Framework process.
- Work closely with team members to ensure compliance with cybersecurity protocols and standards.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cybersecurity measures.
The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, adaptability to a dynamic work environment, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact. Proficiency in the Department of Defense's Cybersecurity processes and the Risk Management Framework is essential.

Location
This position is based in a secure environment.
Travel Requirements
Minimal travel expected.
Clearance Requirements
An active final Secret clearance is required upon hire, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance preferred.
Certification Requirements
A DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification (CISM, CISSP, GSLC, or CCISO) is mandatory.
Citizenship Requirements
This position necessitates U.S. citizenship due to government contract stipulations.
Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following educational and experiential criteria:
- High School Diploma with 14 years of relevant experience, or
- Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or
- Master's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in conducting Cybersecurity risk assessments.
- Familiarity with eMASS.
- Understanding of computer networks, hardware, and security components.
- Ability to foster relationships across various organizational levels.
