Job Title: President & CEO

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to serve as the President and Chief Executive Officer of States' 4-H International Exchange Programs. As the CEO, you will be responsible for providing overall leadership and strategic direction to the organization and its programs in achieving its mission of enhancing world understanding and global citizenship through impactful 4-H international cultural immersion and exchange programs for 4-H youth.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set including financial management, operations management, program management, marketing, human resources, board relations, and external relationship management. The CEO is expected to manage an efficient and mission-driven organization that is compliant with government regulations governing student exchange programs, conforms with best practices in risk management for youth exchange programs, and provides quality international youth exchange experiences at a reasonable cost.

Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction to the organization and its programs
  • Develop and implement effective financial management and operations strategies
  • Manage program development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, international partners, and 4-H Youth Development Centers
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and best practices in risk management
  • Lead the organization in providing quality international youth exchange experiences
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and management experience, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective strategies. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and a master's degree or higher is preferred. The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
