Medical Assistant Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Behavioral Health team at Community Health Centers of the Rutland Region. As an integral part of our team, you will provide clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards.
- Perform lab tests and document results in the electronic medical record.
- Take and record patients' vital signs, immunization status, and brief history.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Clean and autoclave procedural equipment and instruments.
- Monitor patients' conditions and reactions to drugs and treatments.
- Oversee appointment scheduling, prioritizing emergency situations.
Requirements for Success:
- Certified or non-certified Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
- One year of professional experience, preferably in a medical setting.
- Genuine interest in Behavioral Health.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset to work with various teams.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $45,000 - $55,000 annual salary, depending on experience.
