Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
    • Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and an orderly filing system.
    • Manage cash balances, cash flow forecasting, and banking relationships.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and issue accurate financial statements in a timely manner.
    • Manage the production of annual budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
    • Track financial performance against benchmarks and issue reports on variances.
  • Compliance and Leadership:
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting and tax regulations.
    • Provide necessary documentation and information for external audits.
    • Lead and coach the accounting team to meet and exceed monthly goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
  • Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with V-Lookups and Pivot Tables is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Korean.
