Foster Family Support Coordinator

We are looking for a skilled Foster Family Support Coordinator to join our team at Community Youth Services. As a key member of our Foster Care Program, you will provide critical support to foster families and youth in foster care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis intervention for family stability.
  • Collaborate with child welfare directors and caseworkers on referrals.
  • Screen foster families with program staff.
  • Deliver therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a closely related field and 2 years of experience in foster care, family systems, residential treatment, and/or with children and families who have been traumatized by abuse, neglect, and/or domestic violence.
  • Valid TB test results within the previous 12 months prior to hire or the ability to obtain a negative TB test within 30 days of employment.
  • The ability to handle confidential materials in a professional manner.

Compensation:

This full-time, non-exempt position comes with a competitive salary ranging from $21.94 to $28.13 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, HSA contributions, dental, vision, life insurance, and more paid by the agency.
