Job Overview

Position: Administrative Assistant
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Compensation: $15 - $19 per hour based on experience


Role Summary:

This role is essential for managing the front office operations, including welcoming visitors, vendors, and job candidates. The Administrative Assistant will also handle incoming calls and provide support to the sales team with order management.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Directing and managing all incoming phone inquiries
  • Assisting delivery personnel with directions to the facility
  • Organizing, scanning, and filing invoices
  • Maintaining the sales and shipping documentation
  • Generating shipping labels and preparing Bills of Lading
  • Verifying and approving shipping orders
  • Supporting the sales team with order processing
  • Welcoming and assisting visitors and vendors at the front desk
  • Facilitating the on-site interview process

Qualifications:
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Open to learning and adapting to company procedures
  • Ability to follow supervisor instructions
  • Preferred experience in the transportation sector
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to respond promptly to auditory signals
  • Capability to identify and react to hazardous situations
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as needed
  • Ability to lift over 25 pounds when necessary
