Position Overview:

The Head Coach for the Ultimate Club is responsible for overseeing the development and management of the Ultimate Frisbee team within the Campus Recreation department. This role is pivotal in fostering a competitive yet inclusive environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate skill enhancement for college athletes, accommodating varying levels of expertise.
  • Design and implement safe and engaging practice sessions.
  • Mentor and supervise club members, ensuring a positive team dynamic.
  • Attend all scheduled practices and competitions.
  • Act decisively in emergencies, providing First-Aid, CPR, and AED assistance as required.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the administration.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in coaching or active participation in the sport.
  • Availability and flexibility to meet the demands of the role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Current certifications in First-Aid, CPR, AED, and Blood Borne Pathogens, to be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
