Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of plans and specifications for Operations projects, ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal staff to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring alignment with agency goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare and present project reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year degree-granting college or university, or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of program/project management experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as business administration, engineering, or construction management.
  • Professional certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile.
  • Experience working in a government agency or public sector organization.
  • Knowledge of Hillsborough County's policies, procedures, and initiatives.
