Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of our facilities in the Vidalia area. This is a critical role that requires a high level of expertise in facilities management, electrical work, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee building and grounds maintenance, ensuring a safe and clean environment for employees and visitors.
  • Operate and maintain custodial functions, including cleaning and sanitation.
  • Implement security and emergency preparedness procedures to ensure the facility is secure and prepared for any situation.
  • Conduct regular facilities inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the resources and training needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Forecast, allocate, and supervise the financial and physical resources of the facility management, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and assist with energy management to reduce the facility's carbon footprint.
  • Oversee security of buildings and grounds, ensuring that all security protocols are in place and followed.
  • Maintain the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available and easily accessible.
  • Provide recommendations for purchases of new equipment, ensuring that the facility has the necessary tools and resources to operate efficiently.
  • Administer, develop, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in facility operations.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management.
  • Reliable self-transportation.
