Job Summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking highly skilled and experienced Security Officers to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing advanced security solutions to our clients, protecting critical infrastructure and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of client sites, including interior and exterior areas, to ensure the security and integrity of assets.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, including suspicious activity and emergency situations.
  • Administer access control, including issuing visitor badges and logging visitor information.
  • Operate communication devices, including hand-held radios and cell phones, to maintain communication with team members and clients.
  • Assist in the evacuation of clients and employees in the event of an emergency.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity or situations, using deductive reasoning and communication skills to prioritize responsibilities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three years of security guard experience, with two years of experience protecting critical infrastructure sectors or equivalent duty.
  • Valid California Guard Card and ability to obtain necessary licenses and certifications.
  • Pass a background check and 5-panel drug test.
  • Driver's License and CPR Certification.
Work Environment and Schedule
  • Job operates in client sites, which may be indoors or outdoors.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.
  • Open availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as directed.
