Job Overview

Butterball, LLC, a leading American brand, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, hydraulic systems, electrical and electronic systems, and welding. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily PMs and ensure production lines are in good mechanical order.
  • Provide assistance to other teams as needed.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Safety Practices at all times.
  • Inspect and test machinery and equipment to detect malfunctions.
  • Repair and maintain physical structures and equipment.
  • Install and repair electrical apparatus and electronic components.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other personnel to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Five to ten years of related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Knowledge of blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to calculate figures and read tape measurements.

Work Environment:

  • Wet and/or humid environments.
  • Moving mechanical parts.
  • Extreme cold.
  • Electrical and/or vibration shock.
