Job Summary

Butterball, LLC is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician Electrician to provide electrical and mechanical support in our facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining facility equipment, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

This is a safety-sensitive position, and the selected candidate will be required to pass a background check and drug screen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain facility equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as PM procedures, to reduce downtime and improve overall performance.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, using advanced troubleshooting skills and electrical schematics.
  • Complete all work orders as assigned, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, product standards, and guidelines.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, with or without direct supervision, and be willing to train associates and receive training.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety policies and guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; electrical license or certifications preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and work in a variety of environments, including damp and cold conditions.
  • Computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and ability to learn new software and systems.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including:

  • Damp and cold conditions.
  • Loud and noisy machinery.
  • Dusty environments.
  • Raw meat environments.
  • Tight spaces.
